Maranello, 17 October 2024 – Ferrari has unveiled the F80, a supercar that writes a new chapter in the Prancing Horse’s legendary history. The F80 will be produced in a limited run of 799 units, joining icons like the GTO, F40, and LaFerrari. The F80 epitomizes Ferrari’s pursuit of cutting-edge technology and unparalleled performance.
Powertrain and Performance
The F80’s powertrain combines a 900 hp 3.0-liter V6 engine with a hybrid system, producing an additional 300 hp, making it Ferrari’s most powerful road car. The design draws from motorsport innovations, including Formula 1-derived technologies such as electric turbocharging, hybrid energy recovery systems, and advanced aerodynamics.
Design and Aerodynamics
The F80 is designed to push the limits of performance with features such as an active rear wing, front triplane wing, and S-Duct. These elements generate an impressive 1000 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
