Zuffenhausen, Germany – Porsche has unveiled two new versions of its iconic 911 GT3 in a simultaneous launch, celebrating 25 years of high-performance innovation. The new 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package combine Porsche’s racing heritage with everyday usability. First introduced in 1999, the 911 GT3 has been a symbol of speed and passion, and this milestone marks a new chapter for the model.
In addition to the launch, Porsche is celebrating a remarkable season in motorsport, securing nine titles in the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The success highlights Porsche’s enduring dominance in motorsport, with the 911 GT3 playing a key role in the brand’s competitive edge.
The company also honored its storied racing history with the debut of the 718 Spyder RS Panamericana Special, commemorating Porsche’s 70th anniversary of participation in the Carrera Panamericana, a legendary Mexican endurance race.
Looking ahead, Porsche continues to expand its influence in the electric racing sphere. Gabriela Jílková and Marta García will test the Porsche 99X Electric as part of the Formula E pre-season in Valencia, Spain, ahead of the October 24 world premiere of the new Porsche 99X Electric, marking the brand’s commitment to electric racing innovation.
The Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland will conclude its 2024 season this weekend at Hockenheimring, where all four titles are still up for grabs, adding excitement to an already impressive year for Porsche.
