MONTEREY, Calif. (July 8, 2025) — Ferrari has announced the creation of an exclusive Tailor Made Daytona SP3 that will be auctioned for charity during the 2025 Monterey Car Week in California. The vehicle, developed through Ferrari’s bespoke Tailor Made customization program, will be sold by RM Sotheby’s, with all proceeds benefiting The Ferrari Foundation’s global educational initiatives.
This unique model — officially numbered 599+1 — is an addition to the previously sold-out 599-unit allocation of the Daytona SP3, making it an instant collector’s item. Ferrari emphasized its singular status by fitting the car with a commemorative plaque.
The car features a two-tone livery of exposed carbon fiber and Giallo Modena, with a bold Giallo Modena Ferrari logo spanning the entire upper body — a design first for the brand. Glossy black accents on the front splitter, side sills, and rear diffuser complete the exterior styling.
Inside, the Daytona SP3 continues to break new ground with upholstery crafted from an innovative fabric made of recycled tires, adorned with a distinctive Prancing Horse motif. The dashboard and steering column are made from the same advanced carbon fiber used in Ferrari’s Formula 1 race cars.
All proceeds from the auction will go to The Ferrari Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, to support its ongoing educational work. Among the foundation’s recent projects is a major donation to Save the Children for rebuilding the Aveson Charter School in Altadena, California, following its destruction in the Eaton Wildfire earlier this year.
The Daytona SP3 is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 840 cv. The car accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.85 seconds and hits 124 mph in just 7.4 seconds, embodying Ferrari’s engineering excellence and motorsport legacy.
Part of the limited-run Icona series, the Daytona SP3 draws inspiration from Ferrari’s legendary V12 prototypes of the 1960s. Like its predecessors — the Monza SP1 and SP2 — the SP3 blends heritage with cutting-edge materials and design, making it a centerpiece of Ferrari’s celebration of history and innovation.
